Terms of Service (“Agreement”)

Please read these Terms of Service completely. This Agreement is between VEP and the Veteran. This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site, the associated email domains and individual email accounts.

By using or accessing the Site in any way; setting up and utilizing email account(s), you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Intellectual Property

The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of VEP and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.

This Site is not endorsed by, supported or associated in any way with any government, department or military branch of service. As of December 20, 2021, VEP cannot find any trademarks or servicemarks restricting the use of the sequence of letters for domain names or for the services of email accounts or email hosting.

Qualification

All users must:

  • Be a Veteran of the branch of service of the United States Military for which they are claiming an email address or,
  • Verify their identity to the satisfaction of VEP prior to the establishment of an account.
  • Currently serving or honorably discharged.

Termination

VEP reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site and services without any advance notice for the following reasons:

  • Violation of the CAN-SPAM Act outlined at this link: eCFR :: 16 CFR Part 316 — Can-Spam Rule
  • Behavior that adversely affects other users of the Site and services
  • Violation of site administrator’s standard of obscenity, vulgarity or integrity
  • Discovery that Veteran is not actually a Veteran of the branch of service of the United States Military for which they are claiming an email address
  • Failure to pay any fees due

Stolen Valor

VEP considers your application your sworn testimony that you are in fact a Veteran of the branch of service of the United States Military for which you are claiming an email address. Misrepresentation of yourself as a Veteran which leads to the approval of an email account, is considered stolen valor. VEP will investigate and aggressively pursue incidents of stolen valor in order to expose perpetrators.

Domains and Usernames

VEP reserves the right to issue emails using domains as it sees fit.

VEP reserves the right, for any reason, to reject a customer’s username choice prior to establishing an email address.

VEP reserves the right to restrict email accounts to one per person.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to other websites or online resources that are not owned or controlled by VEP.

VEP has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third-party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.

Governing Law

The terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the applicable laws of the State of Tennessee. If any legal action is necessary to enforce the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the parties agree that the jurisdiction and venue for bringing such action shall be in the appropriate court in Williamson County, Tennessee. The parties agree to first exhaust reconciliation options of personal negotiation, mediation and arbitration prior to any court action.

Changes to This Agreement

VEP reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site and services after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service.

Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access the VEP site or services immediately.

Complaints

Any complaints about items may be sent to our support team through the contact page. There is no guarantee of a resolution. Each case will be looked at individually.
